Heygates Layers Pellets with Flubenvet is the easy way to worm your adult chickens with Flubenvet.
To worm your poultry, feed Heygates layers pellets with Flubenvet® as the only feed your chickens eat for 7 consecutive days. Eggs may be presented for human consumption during treatment when used as directed, but birds should not be slaughtered for human consumption until 7 days after the end of treatment.
This product is POM-VPS - this means that it can only be prescribed and supplied by an SQP (Suitably Qualified Person) and we require certain information from you to ensure that the product is suitable. You will be asked to supply this information during the online checkout process.
The product is only licensed for feeding to chickens and geese. If you order this product and list other species for treatment, e.g. ducks, quail, please note that your order will be automatically refunded as Flubenvet is not licensed for these species.
Please note that the medicated pellets are manufactured with a very short shelf life to guarantee the effectiveness of the medication, and as such you should purchase only enough for a single treatment of 7 days. If you order more than this we may contact you to discuss your order, and if we are unable to reach you within a few days we will instead refund your order and wait to hear back from you.
We order small quantities on a very regular basis to keep the expiry date as long as possible, this often means that you may have to wait up to two weeks for your order to be dispatched if we are waiting for fresh stock. Please telephone if you require this product urgently to enquire about immediate availability.
Heygates Layers Pellets with Flubenvet is supplied in a 5kg or a 20kg bag and is usually suitable to treat up to 5 chickens or 20 chickens respectively over 7 days. We estimate that an adult chicken will consume up to 1kg of feed per week, though you should be aware of the average consumption within your own flock and purchase accordingly. Please note that the medicated pellets are manufactured wtih a very short shelf life to guarantee the effectiveness of the medication, and as such you should purchase only enough for a single treatment of 7 days.
Please note that we are only able to supply this product for domestic use - ie if you are keeping poultry purely for your own egg production, or for show purposes. We cannot supply this product for commercial use.
