100g EasyBird Complete Pet Supplement from The Birdcare Company

Sadly many pet birds are fed what their owners are convinced is a really good diet. Yet most of these diets are deficient in many vitamins, trace and macro minerals, limiting amino acids and essential oils. The result is that many birds with poor immune systems become prone to infections and illnesses. Even more commonly they show symptoms of calcium and other deficiencies which are rarely recognised. Their lives are shortened by the same obesity related diseases that we humans get - liver disease, diabetes, heart and other circulatory problems. All these things are easily prevented and, with EasyBird Complete Pet Supplement, you know they are getting the very best support possible. Again this incredibly comprehensive product is simply added to fresh foods, soft foods or human foods six days a week. It couldn't be easier!

Key Features: A comprehensive all in one product which makes supplementation easier for busy bird keepers. This product contains calcium, vitamins and minerals, protein and a powdered probiotic and is suitable for all year round use.

Application: Feed EasyBird Complete Pet Supplement 5 or 6 days a week. Feed 2/3rds level teaspoon per macaw, 1/3rd level teaspoon per grey/Amazon, 2-3 pinches per cockatiel, 1-2 pinches per budgie, 1 pinch per canary, 1 pinch per pair of small finches.

Orphaned sparrow

For the past 9 weeks, I've been rearing a sparrow that was pushed out of it's nest. Although she appeared to be thriving, she was very underweight for her age and her feathers were very 'tatty'. Her appetite was good but she seemed to be getting more lethargic by the day and after some research, I concluded that she perhaps wasn't getting all the vitamins and minerals in the right quantities to sustain her. It's early days but the prognosis is looking good! I sprinkle a tiny pinch of the supplement onto a soaked dog biscuit (which she loves) each day and she does appear to be perking up a little. At least she's not sleeping all the time between meals now!!
