Fantastic chick feed. My birds voted for it feet/wings/hands down compared to other feeds. It seems to be good quality, lovely having insects and variety in it, and they love it and are growing well. Love the fact it's right from the start all the way up to laying, so no need to mess around with growers feed if you have a mixed flock. Only not given 5/5 because I wish it wasn't so expensive with so many beaks to feed, but I guess you get what you pay for....

This is the best feed to take chicks from hatching to adulthood, suitable for mother hen too. Looks appealing with plenty of variety, the chicks enjoy it and grow strong and healthy.

Excellent start for chicks they do very well on this feed. Only negative is the small bag size

This is fantastic food which the chicks and mother hen loved. Chicks clearly are growing very well on it. I gave it to mother hen while she was sitting too - the last week. Only problem (apart from horrendous cost) is that as mother is starting to get back to laying she needs more calcium than her chicks are allowed to have so am trying to feed mother Alfamix Chicken while trying to stop the chicks from eating her food - difficult. The cost means that eventually I will need to get the chicks and mother back to Layers Pellets. If there was a way to reduce delivery costs I'd try to feed this longer as they are clearly doing well on it.
